CS4L supports leaders to increase their team’s effectiveness, engagement, and ownership. CS4L is a virtual offering rendering it both time and cost effective for in person and remote workers alike. CS4L unfolds over a purposeful 9-month duration, strategically divided into two distinct rhythms designed for sustained behavior change:
  • The initial 3 months focus on unlearning old ways and internalising new learning. It is an intense learning period that builds learning momentum, requiring participants to invest 2-3 hours per week to immerse themselves in coaching principles and initiate the necessary mindset shift for effective leadership.
  • Following this intensive phase, the time commitment reduces to 3hrs a week to 2hrs a month for 6 months. This period is dedicated to applying and anchoring the behavioral change.

What is the CS4L Program?

Coaching Skills for Leaders (CS4L) supports leaders to increase their team’s effectiveness, engagement, and ownership. Participants who commit to the process radically transform 1-2 key lasting behavioural shifts that decrease their time on oversight and increase their team’s:
  • Engagement
  • Trust
  • Ownership of their key responsibilities
The emphasis is on sustainable change is reflected by the program’s experiential structure and duration. See syllabus for details.

What are Coaching Skills ?

Coaching Skills equip leaders to apply their existing expertise and experience to question curation and active listening instead of over-relying on advice giving. Doing so enables team member to generate their own solutions and reduces the risk of the leader becoming a bottleneck. Which, in turn, increases confidence and ownership. Coaching skills build capacity through each interaction, remove bottlenecks, and increase mutual trust. They are a powerful tool to re-invigorate frustrated or disengaged teams as well as to push thriving teams to the next level.

What is the time commitment?

CS4L is run twice a year as a public offering. See our website for specific dates. The time commitment is roughly 2-3 hrs/week for the first 3 months and then 1-2 hrs/month for 6 months. Review our syllabus for a more precise weekly breakdown. We can add additional cohorts for companies with enough people for an in-house cohort (9-15 participants).

Who is this course for?

**This program is designed for leaders it is NOT designed to create professional coaches.** CS4L is for someone who is:
  • A mid to senior level leader.
  • In charge of a team of people.
  • Committed to impactful upskilling of your leadership.
  • Committed to investing the time necessary to succeed in this program – both in attending all weekly sessions and doing the prep work in between sessions.

Impact from past participants

“I have seen a real shift in my supervisors, taking ownership and running full steam and being proud of their projects without too much interference from me, they are giving great feedback and asking for clarification when needed.” “People seem safer around me, easier to inspire confidence in others and gain commitment to the process we run.” “I’ve improved in having an open mind not judging or concluding based on stories in my head – lot more inquiring seeking to understand.”
