Toni Crow

Toni coaches emerging and evolving leaders who feel pulled in too many directions, facing constant firefighting, competing decisions, and the quiet fatigue of trying to hold it all together. She works with people who want to regain steadiness and clarity while staying fully engaged with the pressures and responsibilities of their roles. Her clients notice a sense of relief almost immediately, as they find a way to act with confidence and purpose without pretending the pressures go away.

This shift is practical: clients develop the agency to clear the chaos in the areas they control and the skill to influence the areas they don’t. They experience tangible changes in how they navigate pressure, make decisions, and manage their teams. Instead of reacting endlessly, they discover how to restore order to their immediate environment, establishing clearer priorities and habits that permit them to lead with intention and optimism.

This ability to navigate complexity is backed by over 25 years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, and operational leader. Toni speaks the languages of diverse sectors, from high tech and financial services to the arts and sciences. A certified Lean Black Belt, she has served as a due diligence researcher for venture capital and IPO projects. She is an ICF accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Royal Roads University Certified Executive Coach, and holds certifications in Positive Intelligence, Lumina Spark, Symbolon Reflection, and is a facilitator of Advantage Management’s Coaching Skills for Leaders program.

Her approach rests on the belief that leaders do not need to escape pressure to be effective; they simply need to regain their footing while staying in the work that matters most. Clients describe her as someone who sees the full reality of their roles, brings calm insight, and inspires confidence without judgment. This grounded perspective was shaped by a unique journey: from a childhood in a small Scottish village and the Canadian Rocky Mountains, to a career built across Canada, the US, New Zealand, and France.

Happily settled in East Vancouver, Canada with her husband and son, Toni values home, family, and friends, while also relishing travel, learning and new experiences. Toni feels privileged to be able to coach impactful non-profit leaders in Africa, serve as a TED Fellows coach, and volunteer with the Humanitarian Coaching Network (HCN). She values the opportunity to partner with people across different cultures and contexts, witnessing how they make use of the valuable space and time created together to think differently and develop meaningful, lasting results.

Tidbits About Me
  1.   1. The Scottish Start: I lived in a tiny Scottish village until I was 10—I still remember the specific “feel” of that landscape.
  2.  2. The Perfect Evening: My ultimate happy place is a leisurely summer dinner in the garden with people I love.
  3.  3. The Need for Speed: I celebrated my 40th birthday by becoming a certified Novice race car driver.
  4.  4. The Science of Maps: My undergrad was in Sciences, specializing in the intersection of statistics and cartography.
  5.  5. The Line Artist: I can lose track of time for hours creating incredibly intricate line drawings.
  6.  6. The Dirt Therapy: You’ll often find me “pottering” in the garden—it’s where I do my best thinking.
  7.  7. The Traveller’s Prophecy: A Traveller once told me I’d never have just one calling; so far, he’s been exactly right.
  8.  8. The Yoga Start: My film debut was at age 10 in an educational yoga video.
  9.  9. The First Career: I started my professional life in drafting and cartography, which explains my love for a clear plan.
  10. 10. The Alpine High: Happy place #3: Standing at the top of Seventh Heaven at Whistler Blackcomb on a crystal-clear day.
  11.  11. The Mindfulness Rebrand: I’ve always wondered about the word “mindfulness.” Since my mind is usually quite full, shouldn’t it be “mind-less-full”?
  12. 12. The Ashram Era: I spent a chunk of my childhood living in a Kootenay ashram while my parents studied yoga and meditation.
  13. 13. The Kiwi Gig: One of my favorite career chapters was working as a technical illustrator in New Zealand.
  14. 14. The Ocean Fix: If I’m near or on the ocean, I’m happy.
  15. 15. The Original Handle: My childhood nickname was “Bookworm,” and I’m still usually in the middle of three different books.
  16. 16. The Global Tally: I’ve lived in 20 homes, 10 towns, and 4 countries, while attending 6 schools and 8 universities.
  17. 17. The Tarot Trek: I read Tarot cards for fun—and once used those skills to fund a backpacking trip through Europe.
  18. 18. The Lifelong Learner: I’m currently back in the “classroom” working on my Master’s degree.
  19. 19. The Human Connection: My deepest happy place is being fully present and curious about the human being sitting in front of me.
  20. 20. The Work-in-Progress: I am currently co-writing a book, and the heavy lifting is mostly done.
  21. 21. The 15-Minute Bee: I once spent 15 minutes watching a single bee. I felt more refreshed and at peace for the rest of the day than after a good night’s sleep.

In business, in life, exploring perspectives in what you are going through is always valuable. Our organization’s resilience and pivoting of the Covid-year was not enough. We needed fresh thinking.

Toni was the right coach at the right time. She partnered with me, stretched me and caused me to look at things differently.

In a few months, we were on track with critical governance issues as well as our fundraising strategy.

If you are going through personal or life transition, if you need clarity and momentum, or leadership coaching, I unhesitatingly recommend Toni.
